Work Comp Programs: Identifying and Addressing Risks Part 1

Tuesday, January 30, 2018
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time
Description: One of the most common misunderstandings pertaining to workers' compensation insurance is that "work comp is work comp," and "the only thing that matters is price." Nothing could be further from the truth. Employers unknowingly face potential adverse financial events arising from their workers' compensation program that could disrupt their business and their family for generations. "

In Part 1 of the course, participants will learn:

  • New and emerging workers' compensation trends that are driving up costs and risks to businesses;
  • The risks arising from traveling, temporarily deployed, or employees based outside the headquarter state of their employer; and
  • The advantages and risks that arise from Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs)
  • Credit Hours: CE #100974, CE 2-20 - General Lines (Property & Casualty), 3 hours

    Cost: $85 members; $135 nonmembers.
