Personal Lines 101: why should I take this class?
For those holding a 4-40 customer service license and handle personal lines insurance, this class is for you. Learn about all types of personal lines insurance: homeowners, dwelling, umbrella, flood, auto and providing each attendee eight hours of CE upon completion of all 4 webinars.
Another reason to take this class is to provide a peace of mind with DFS. FAIA receives questions all the time from agency principals on what a 4-40 customer service rep legally can do in an agency. The law is very clear on those duties; so, to eliminate any confusion or concern of being in compliance with the law, converting the license is the best way to lessen the probability of a DFS fine.
Having a 20-44 resident personal lines license comes with a host of benefits. Here are a few key ones. First, it's an agent license and has reciprocity with other states if you move outside of Florida; the 4-40 license does not. Second, with a 20-44 license you can work from home legally, taking care of clients and assisting staff as needed. A third benefit is your ability to go outside the office to transact insurance.
Taking this course will provide an overview of personal lines insurance along with Florida Statutes to prepare you to sit for the 20-44 resident personal lines state exam.
The link to access the webinar will be emailed to attendees the afternoon prior to the webinar.
Agencies that offer FAIA's webinars in a conference room setting must pay for each agent in attendance.
